JAY PRICE
THROTTLEMAN
JAY PRICE IS BACK — AND HE’S WITH TEAM ATLAS.
Former UIM F1 Powerboat World Championship World Champion. Veteran of the XCAT World Championship. One of the most experienced throttlemen in offshore racing.
Jay Price is officially coming out of retirement—and joining Team Atlas for the 2026 season.
I’ll be running driver alongside Jay as throttleman in S-14, campaigning our 32’ Doug Wright catamaran in the Super Stock class.
This class demands precision, trust, and timing—exactly where Jay’s experience at the highest levels of the sport makes a difference.
MARK NIEMANN
DRIVER
Mark Niemann, a Germany native, is a veteran offshore powerboat racer with decades of experience across European and U.S. circuits. He began racing in the early 1980s and later held key leadership roles in P1 Powerboat, including Safety Rescue Coordinator and event promoter, before returning to competition and becoming Germany’s first full-time professional offshore factory pilot, earning multiple podium finishes and a World Championship third-place result.
In 2012, Mark founded Phantom 9 Racing in the United States, winning a National Championship in the SBI circuit and continuing to secure titles across major organizations. A World Champion and sportsmanship award recipient, he brings extensive experience, leadership, and passion to Atlas Offshore Racing.
